Willowdale Ranch is rising from the ashes of the historic “Cow Camp” ranch that it once was. Founded pre-civil war, we are bringing back the story this property once told.

As the gateway to the highland lakes and the mountain trail network, we are sitting on the site where the original halfway trading post once stood between the Ashland and Rouge River Tribes and the Klamath Tribe. As the trading grew, all tribes welcomed settlers to participate in these enterprises.

OUR MISSION is to restore this ranch in an effort to preserve a disappearing culture. We are restoring the legacy of life to the frontier horse, horsemanship, and the natural beauty once enjoyed by the Oregon Territories Settler.

Within this mission, is our Equine Therapy for PTSD suffering individuals given free of charge. Our HIGHLAND LAKES CENTER which educates on the fragile ecosystem in danger of disappearing, and our weekend retreats for local nature, and wildlife groups.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• For refunds we require at least 48 hours advanced notice for non-private rides and 72 hours advanced notice for private rides.

  • Inclement weather policy- In the event of rain a voucher will be issued for the full amount of your reservation that can be used to reschedule your horseback ride at your convenience. For same day cancellations WE MUST BE NOTIFIED BY PHONE (phone # found in confirmation email) A MINIMUM OF 2 HOURS IN ADVANCE in order to receive your promo code.

• Cancellations/changes that fall outside of our cancellation policy, or no-shows, will be charged the FULL AMOUNT of the ride.

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to cancel a ride due to severe inclement weather, extreme heat and/or poor trail conditions due to heavy rain or snow.
