What we offer

The Rounder

This is our basic guided ride. it is 1 hour long and takes you through the historic prairie where the Midway Trading post once stood. It continues down Dead Indian Creek to the Howard Prairie Lake Bed where you will hit some basic incline trails and then return to the Corral. This ride is for basic to intermediate riders and will work those muscles you didn’t know you had. The price for this ride is $110 per person. it comes with 30minute instruction, all safety equipment and one of our great trail guides. After ride refreshments are provided. If you would like a more expansive after ride experience to include lunch or dinner, just let us know.

Dry Camping

Our property offers expansive vistas where you can bring your RV, Gooseneck, Camper Van, Popup or tent to enjoy any of our dry camping sites. We have fresh spring water, portable corrals for horses, and liberal allowances for number of people at each site.

Pets are allowed and encouraged as long a they are on a leash in retaining area.

Secluded and with out any light pollution, your stay will be your own without any interference. The cost is $20 per night, which includes RV dump station and any corrals you may need. We have composting toilet facilities and if you need a hot shower, we are right next to Howard Prairie Camp ground. We are keeping this ranch experience as original a possible.

Trail Boss

This is our advanced to expert ride. Minimum 1 1/2 hours. This trail takes you through the forest with more aggressive terrain then takes you across the lake to creek crossings, changing topography and vegetation on a continuous loop back to the corrals.

The price for this ride is $130 per person. It includes 30 minute instruction, all safety equipment and one of our great trail guides. Enhanced after ride refreshments and snacks are provided. If you would like a more expansive after ride experience to include lunch or dinner, just let us know.

Range Riding

Range Riding is our Base Camp Service. If you would like to bring your own mount and use the ranch as base for the day there is no charge. We have a small donation box that you can throw in what you want. We provide trail maps and fresh water for the horses. If your plans are an overnight adventure, just book a campsite and we’ll take care of the corrals and troughs.
